Job Summary
The main goal of the Amazon Operations Specialist is to support the Amazon Channel Manager specifically in regard to the creation processing and tracking of Amazon stocking shipments around the globe as well as keeping our Amazon accounts in good health. To be successful in this role you should be wellorganized and able to understand the order fulfillment cycle as well as turn data into information information into insight and insight into business decisions. Our ideal candidate is an extrovert who can work with minimal supervision has great critical thinking skills and is a problem solver.
Responsibilities
- Create track and monitor all Amazon stocking shipments
- Manage all important documentation such as advanced shipping notices pick slips shipping labels BOLs etc.
- Resolve issues regarding shipped orders
- Handle shipment receiving and reconcile shipment discrepancies
- Act on negative feedback in our Amazon Seller Account
- Answer customer queries directed through the Amazon account
- Run weekly reports and adhoc reporting when requested
- Proactively monitor and fix minor issues with listings
- Collate and upload data sets to the Amazon account
- Utilize 3rdparty account monitoring software
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Perform special tasks as needed
Requirements
- BS degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Logistics or a related field
- At least 3 years of exposure to International Logistics Shipping and/or Warehouse Management industries
- Proven related work experience as a Logistics Administrator Warehouse Administrator or in a similar role
- Experienced with Amazon fulfillment
- Experienced in working with or at a Thirdparty Logistics (3PL) provider
- Computer savvy; must be proficient in MS Excel
- Working knowledge of logistics software (ERP) and/or transport management systems; preferably Netsuite
- Handson experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and preparing shipping documents (e.g. purchase orders invoices and shipment notices) is highly desirable
- Data processing experience preferred
- Basic accounting knowledge is desirable
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
- Must be professional friendly hardworking organized detailoriented and able to independently problemsolve
- Keen eye for detail
- Ability to notice patterns and errors in patterns
- Must have Fiber Optic internet with at least 25 Mbps bandwidth
- Must have a backup desktop or laptop with the latest OS
- Must be able to work from 12 AM 9 AM
