Key Responsibilities:
- Draft review and negotiate a wide range of contracts including but not limited to service agreements vendor contracts employment agreements and joint ventures.
- Ensure all contracts align with applicable Egyptian and Gulf legal frameworks and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks ensuring clarity and enforceability of terms.
- Advise on compliance with Egyptian and Gulf laws including labor laws commercial codes and regulatory requirements
- Monitor legislative changes in Egypt and Gulf countries and assess their impact on existing and future contracts.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and external advisors to address complex legal and regulatory issues.
- Lead the endtoend management of contracts from initiation to renewal or termination.
- Develop and maintain a robust contract repository for easy retrieval and tracking of obligations and deadlines.
- Implement and optimize contract management systems and tools for efficiency and accuracy.
- Work closely with internal departments (e.g. procurement HR finance) to understand their contractual needs and provide strategic advice.
- Lead negotiations with vendors clients and partners to secure favorable terms for the company.
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external parties to resolve disputes or discrepancies.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent. Masters degree in law (LLM) or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 7 up to10 years of experience in contract management with a focus on Egyptian and Gulf legal systems.
Proven track record in handling crossborder contracts and multijurisdictional legal issues.
