Responsibilities:
As a Systems Engineer your primary responsibility is to design and develop complex systems to meet specific requirements. Other duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze system requirements ensuring a clear understanding of functionality performance and constraints.
- System Architecture: Design the overall architecture of the system including subsystems interfaces and interactions to meet the specified requirements.
- Component Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate components technologies and platforms to implement the system design considering factors such as cost performance and compatibility.
- Prototyping and Modeling: Develop prototypes or models to validate the system design and assess its feasibility making adjustments as needed to optimize performance and functionality.
- Integration: Coordinate the integration of subsystems and components ensuring compatibility and seamless operation across the entire system.
- Testing and Verification: Develop test plans and procedures to verify the functionality performance and reliability of the system design conducting tests and analyses to validate its performance against requirements.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 5 years work experience on various communication systems technologies such as fiberoptic transmissions digital trunked radio public address and telephony CCTV surveillance access management PABX and travel information systems preferred.
- Experience in implementing railwayrelated projects will be an added advantage.
