Role Summary:
We are seeking experienced Lead Program Operations to lead the implementation and operational success of the program across multiple geographies. The person will focus on direct engagement with government schools ensuring hightouch interventions to improve digital learning and student outcomes while building teacher capacity in technology integration.
The ideal person will bring expertise in program execution operations management and stakeholder engagement within the government school ecosystem. This role requires a strategic mindset operational excellence and a strong commitment to driving grassroots impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Delivery and Execution:
Lead the implementation of the Digital Shaala program across 2000 schools ensuring timely and highquality delivery in 67 states and 25 geographic locations.
Translate program strategies into actionable operational plans focusing on driving impact in digital learning STEM exposure and student outcomes. Coordinate with the program design team to provide actionable fieldlevel insights ensuring alignment between design and delivery.
2. ImpactDriven Implementation:
Drive measurable improvements in teacher capacity for integrating technology and blended teaching methodologies.
Ensure that program implementation leads to improved student engagement and learning outcomes in science maths and STEM subjects. Monitor adoption of digital tools by teachers and track their impact on classroom learning.
3. Operations Management:
Oversee the daytoday operations of the Digital Shaala program ensuring alignment with project timelines deliverables and quality standards. Optimise resource allocation workflows and logistics to ensure seamless program execution across diverse geographies.
Develop contingency plans to address operational challenges and mitigate risks effectively.
4. Team Management:
Build manage and support a multitiered team of project managers field staff and coordinators across locations ensuring consistent program delivery and onground impact.
Conduct regular reviews team training sessions and knowledgesharing initiatives to build capacity and sustain operational excellence.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration and Advocacy:
Work closely with state and districtlevel government officials to gain buyin for the program and align with local education priorities.
Represent org in discussions with stakeholders including school leaders community representatives donors and program partners. Advocate for systemic changes in teacher training and digital integration aligned with program objectives.
6. Monitoring and Evaluation:
Implement robust monitoring frameworks to assess program progress identify gaps and take corrective actions for better outcomes.
Collaborate with the M&E team to ensure accurate data collection analysis and reporting to stakeholders.
Facilitate the preparation of impact reports and success stories to demonstrate program effectiveness.
7. Capacity Building for Teachers:
Conduct and oversee workshops training sessions and capacitybuilding initiatives aimed at equipping teachers with digital skills and innovative teaching techniques.
Ensure training programs are practical contextualised to government school settings and aligned with NEP 2020 goals.
8. Partnership and Donor Management:
Manage relationships with 1215 program partners and ensure adherence to MoUs reporting requirements and program deliverables.
Collaborate with the donor management team to provide timely updates impact stories and field insights to sustain donor confidence and support. Ensure compliance with partner and donor requirements including detailed program progress reports and financial accountability.
9. Community and School Engagement:
Foster a collaborative environment between schools teachers and community leaders to ensure the successful adoption of the program.
Address concerns and provide guidance to onground teams to improve engagement and outcomes.
10. Documentation and Reporting:
Develop detailed fieldlevel reports on program execution challenges and impact.
Provide regular updates to the senior leadership and associate director on project status and milestones achieved.
Maintain comprehensive records of program activities for transparency and accountability.
Qualification
Education: Bachelors degree in Education Business Administration Public Policy or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
Proven track record of managing large teams and multilocation operations across diverse geographies.
Expertise in stakeholder engagement partnership management and donor reporting.
Indepth understanding of operations government school ecosystems teacher capacity building and techbased learning models.
Strong operational and strategic thinking skills to scale programs effectively.
Leadership and teambuilding skills with the ability to inspire and manage a large workforce.
Strategic mindset and problemsolving capabilities to address challenges in scaling programs.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to navigate diverse stakeholder relationships.
Financial acumen to manage budgets and ensure accountability.
