Job Description
Korzen Health is working with a newly constructed facility located near downtown Sacramento.
This new campus represents the first new psychiatric hospital constructed in Northern California in more than 30 years.
The campus includes 117 inpatient acute psychiatric beds an outpatient treatment center and a procedures clinic staged to host electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and other interventional psychiatry services.
We are looking to add a W2 Employed or 1099 Psychiatrist for an Adult Inpatient Unit.
Here is a breakdown of what we are looking for:
Competency restoration:
Unit Director
- Oversees the care directly and indirectly for 39 patients
- Breaks the volume of the pod into 3s sees patients on a rotating basis resulting in 1213 pt rounds per day
- NPs do followups on patients not seen by psychiatrist each day
- MD oversees and consults on the care provided by NPs
- MD participates in treatment team daily
- MD participates in weekly IST pt staffing with DSH
- Takes all call for unit (2 halls) until 89pm.
- optional acute call coverage/rotation
Service Line Medical Directorship Available. This is a 100% inpatient position
Full Time Position that will include Base Salary 6 Weeks of PTO CME and Full Benefits in place!

We are looking to add an additional Psychiatrist onto a Brand New Team within a state of the art Hospital located in the heart of Sacramento CA.
Highlights include:
Be part of a new team within the regions newest hospitals!
100 Bed Hospital with both Adult Inpatient and Outpatient Programs in place. IOP/PHP program included.
Unit is a General Adult Unit 39 Beds. The unit is split with 2 Physicians and 1 NP.
Service Line Medical Directorship Available.
Full Time Position that will include Base Salary 6 Weeks of PTO CME and Full Benefits in place!
ADC is anywhere from 1218 patients per day. We have a fullteam in place!
