Looking for a Quality Head who has worked into aluminum wire rods
Key Responsibilities:
1. Material Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing on raw materials including aluminium
and steel to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications. This involves
analyzing chemical composition mechanical properties and other relevant
characteristics using various testing methods such as spectroscopy tensile testing
hardness testing and microscopy.
2. Process Monitoring: Monitor the rolling process closely to identify any deviations or
abnormalities that may affect the quality of the final product. This includes observing
parameters such as temperature pressure speed and alignment of rolls to ensure
optimal production conditions.
3. Product Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing on finished products of aluminium
and steel to verify their quality and performance. This includes evaluating dimensional
accuracy surface finish mechanical properties and other relevant attributes to ensure
that they meet customer requirements and industry standards.
4. Defect Analysis and Troubleshooting: Investigate any quality issues or defects that
arise during the production process. This involves identifying root causes implementing
corrective actions and collaborating with production personnel and other stakeholders
to prevent recurrence.
5. Quality Control: Implement quality control procedures to verify that the finished
products meet customer requirements and industry standards. Perform dimensional
inspections surface inspections and other relevant tests to ensure product quality and
consistency.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of test results observations
and quality control activities. Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing findings
trends and recommendations for improvement. Communicate findings effectively to
management and other relevant parties.
7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on advancements in testing technologies
industry standards and best practices related to rolling mill operations. Identify
opportunities for process optimization efficiency improvements and cost reduction
initiatives.
8. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements to
ensure a safe working environment. Implement and promote best practices for
occupational health and safety throughout the testing process.
9. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional
teams including production engineering quality assurance and supply chain to
achieve common goals. Communicate proactively with stakeholders to address any
concerns or issues related to material quality and performance.

product performance and conformance to specifications.
Interpret test results and provide recommendations for process adjustments or
product modifications as needed to run the lines.
4. Supplier and Vendor Quality Management:
Establish quality criteria for suppliers and vendors of raw materials
components and services for all materials.
Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure adherence to quality
standards and specifications for all materials.
Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to address quality issues
and improve supplier performance.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of quality control activities test results and
inspection findings for all the processes.
Generate quality reports and performance metrics to track key quality indicators
and trends for all the materials.
Communicate qualityrelated information to management stakeholders and
external customers as needed for all the products.
6. Training and Development:
Provide training and guidance to quality assurance staff on quality control
