What Youll Do
As a Cath Lab Technologist you will play a vital role in our Cardiac Catheterization Lab assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing patients and equipment for catheterization procedures.
- Operating Xray monitoring and scrubbing during procedures.
- Performing digital and cine imaging and managing image archiving.
- Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
What Were Looking For
To excel in this role you should have:
- Certifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or
- Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures in a cardiac and/or general catheterization lab.
- At least 1 year of experience in digital and cine imaging and archiving.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Xray monitoring and scrubbing techniques.
- Basic Life Support (BLS): Current certification is required.
