Automation Developer
7robotics is seeking an experienced and driven Automation Developer to join our growing team. This is a fulltime position focused on the sales and development of robotic systems within the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of technical sales experience and a strong understanding of automation technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales of robotic systems and solutions in the manufacturing industry
Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships to support business growth
Provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle from initial inquiries to postsales support
Work closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure customer requirements are met
Stay current on industry trends new technologies and emerging standards in automation
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Manufacturing Engineering Business Management Communications Marketing or a related field.
Experience: 5 years in technical sales preferably in the automation robotics or manufacturing industries.
Skills & Abilities:
o Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
o Experience with AutoCAD and 3D modeling software
o Proficiency in simulation software such as RobotStudio or similar 3D tools
o Ability to create clear and detailed technical documentation and proposals
o Familiarity with business software (MS Office Suite) and CRM platforms (HubSpot or Salesforce)
o Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to a variety of stakeholders
o Selfstarter with a high degree of motivation grit and the ability to work independently
o A commitment to staying informed about technological advancements in the robotics and automation fields
