Roles and responsibilities
. Team Supervision and Leadership:
- Manage and Lead Field Teams: Supervise, guide, and motivate field marketing teams, including field representatives, brand ambassadors, and other on-ground staff.
- Training & Development: Conduct training sessions to equip field teams with the necessary tools, knowledge, and skills for successful campaign execution.
- Performance Management: Monitor and assess the performance of field marketing teams, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions as needed.
2. Campaign Strategy and Execution:
- Coordinate Field Marketing Campaigns: Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns in the field that support overall business objectives.
- Adapt Campaigns to Local Markets: Customize marketing strategies to fit local market conditions and consumer behavior.
- Oversee Brand Visibility: Ensure that field marketing efforts increase brand presence and consumer awareness, such as through events, activations, or promotions.
3. Budget and Resource Management:
- Budget Oversight: Manage the budget allocated for field marketing activities, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Resource Planning: Ensure that field teams have the necessary materials, promotional items, and tools required for executing marketing campaigns in the field.
- Optimize ROI: Track spending and assess the return on investment (ROI) for field marketing activities.
4. Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, product management, and customer service teams to align field marketing initiatives with broader company objectives.
- Communication with Vendors/Partners: Coordinate with external partners, agencies, and vendors involved in field marketing activities such as event organizers, material suppliers, or promotional partners.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships with key customers, suppliers, and distributors, ensuring that field marketing activities are aligned with customer expectations.
5. Data Collection and Reporting:
- Monitor Campaign Effectiveness: Track and analyze the success of field marketing campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, sales conversions, or foot traffic.
- Market Feedback: Gather customer feedback from the field and communicate insights to the marketing and product teams.
Desired candidate profile
- Experience in supervisory roles or team leadership in a field marketing or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with sales and marketing tools such as CRM systems, analytics platforms, or reporting tools is desirable.
- Proven track record in campaign execution and managing field-based teams.
