Job Description

Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Executive (UK Process) will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the supply chain operations for our UKbased clients. This role will focus on the efficient management of procurement logistics inventory and order fulfillment while ensuring timely delivery of products and services. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills a deep understanding of supply chain processes and experience working in a UK supply chain context.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Management:

    • Oversee endtoend supply chain operations for UKbased clients including procurement inventory management warehousing and distribution.
    • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance identifying areas for improvement in cost quality and efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with UK regulations and standards including those related to transportation customs and logistics.

  • Procurement & Vendor Management:

    • Manage relationships with key suppliers vendors and service providers to ensure the timely and costeffective supply of goods.
    • Conduct regular supplier evaluations negotiate contracts and monitor supplier performance.
    • Ensure the procurement process is streamlined costeffective and aligned with organizational goals.

  • Logistics & Distribution:

    • Coordinate transportation and logistics activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to clients and customers.
    • Work with logistics partners to resolve any issues related to delivery delays damages or customs clearance.
    • Monitor stock levels and reorder goods as necessary to avoid stockouts or overstocking.

  • Inventory Management:

    • Maintain accurate inventory records perform regular stock audits and ensure optimal stock levels to meet demand without incurring excess costs.
    • Use forecasting tools and demand data to predict inventory needs and plan reorders efficiently.
    • Coordinate with warehouses to ensure smooth stock movement and handling.

  • Order Processing & Fulfillment:

    • Ensure that customer orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner coordinating with sales logistics and warehouse teams.
    • Oversee the order fulfillment process from order receipt to delivery ensuring customer satisfaction and ontime delivery.
    • Address any customer or internal queries related to orders stock or delivery.

  • Reporting & Analytics:

    • Generate regular supply chain reports for senior management including inventory levels procurement costs order statuses and supplier performance.
    • Analyze data to identify trends forecast demand and recommend improvements to optimize supply chain operations.
    • Develop KPIs to monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain processes.

  • Risk Management:

    • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to prevent disruptions (e.g. supplier delays transportation issues or regulatory changes).
    • Stay updated on UKspecific regulations market conditions and industry best practices to manage potential risks proactively.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field.
    • Professional certifications (e.g. APICS CIPS) are a plus.
  • Experience:

    • 24 years of experience in supply chain management logistics or procurement preferably in a UKbased or international supply chain environment.
    • Experience in dealing with UK suppliers transportation regulations and logistics is essential.

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong understanding of supply chain processes inventory management procurement and logistics.
    • Proficiency in using supply chain management software (e.g. SAP Oracle or other ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
    • Analytical skills with the ability to analyze data identify trends and make datadriven decisions.
    • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier and vendor relationships.
    • Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Knowledge of UK customs regulations and import/export procedures.
  • Experience with demand planning and forecasting.
  • Ability to work with crossfunctional teams (sales logistics finance) to drive supply chain efficiency.
