Job Description
West Coast Supply Group is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic professional to join our team. Your mission is to drive international trade initiatives across our extensive global network taking charge of cultivating new business relationships and enhancing our operations in key markets. If you have a knack for spotting opportunities and relish the excitement of international markets this role is designed for you.
Key Responsibilities in International Trading
- Consistently identify and leverage new business opportunities across global markets.
- Negotiate terms with diverse clients and suppliers to ensure favourable outcomes.
- Maintain and grow a robust portfolio of orders ensuring seamless monitoring and management.
- Acquire indepth market insights to become a trade expert optimising both timing and margin for transactions.
- Collaborate effectively with supply chain teams to guarantee smooth order fulfilment and operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Residency in the Netherlands is mandatory.
- Educational background in Economics Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Minimum one year of experience in a sales purchasing or trading role.
- Able to creatively navigate challenges and establish longterm business partnerships.
- Capability to independently set and meet strategic objectives and goals.
- Proactivity and perseverance with a calm approach in challenging situations.
- Willingness to travel extensively engaging with partners across LATAM attending trade shows and conducting market research.
