Job Description
Position: Pharmacist Inpatient
Start Date: 12/9/2024
Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: Pittsfield MA 01201
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Varied 0
Shift Notes: Varied shift Monday through Friday 40hr gt
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend/Holidays required if needed
OnCall Requirements: No Call

IF APPROVED BY THE HEALTH SYSTEM TRAVELER WILL WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON SITE. Traveler Policy: WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDES WITHIN 50 MILES OF FACILITY. To avoid delays in processing please include the perm address in the profile upload.
** SCHEDULE ACCOMMODATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED (10/12HR). DO NOT UPLOAD A TRAVELER WHO WILL NOT WORK POSTED SHIFT.
** Traveler must be willing to work TWO of the following: Thanksgiving and the weekend after Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the weekend after New Years Eve/New Years Day and the weekend after
- Responsible for the timely and accurate verification of all medication orders and safely prepares medications and other pharmaceuticals for dispensing to patients its clinics and all eligible employees.
- Researches educates and communicates drug information to physicians house staff nurses other healthcare providers and patients/families. Is knowledgeable of automated medication dispensing process/reports and adheres to all applicable departmental and hospital policies/procedures.
- 3years of extensive acute care clinical experience
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college or pharmacy.
- Experience with computer operations unit dose drug dispensing systems IV admixture and parenteral chemotherapy admixture experience preferred.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work independently without direct supervision within established policy.
- Must be capable of supervising the work of support personnel.
- Traveler must have their vehicle for this need

- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
