Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in pharmacy operations including IV infusion and aseptic techniques. This position offers an opportunity to work in a critical care setting within a hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Assist with IV medication preparation and infusion
- Maintain pharmacy inventory and perform stock management
- Provide excellent patient service and support
- Adhere to aseptic techniques in medication preparation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Experience in acute care or hospital pharmacy settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of inhale medications
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekends as needed
