Job Description

A leading provider of comprehensive administration and management solutions for investment funds corporate structures and private wealth clients has been operating since 1998 with its headquarters in Nicosia Cyprus is looking for experienced Senior Compliance Officer.

Expertise lies in delivering tailored solutions to international clients seeking to establish or manage their structures through Cyprus. Company offers a wide range of services designed to meet the unique needs of our clients ensuring efficient and compliant operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Framework: Develop implement and oversee comprehensive compliance policies and procedures.

  • Client Compliance: Ensure clients adhere to sanctions and regulatory requirements.

  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular compliance risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues.

  • Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about financial regulations and ensure timely policy adjustments.

  • Regulatory Guidance: Monitor and interpret regulations advising the executive team on potential impacts.

  • Licensing and Jurisdiction Management: Obtain and renew licenses in various jurisdictions research regulatory requirements and develop strategies for expansion.

  • Funds Licensing: Coordinate the licensing of funds in reputable jurisdictions (Cayman Islands Dubai Abu Dhabi BVI etc.).

  • Legal Counsel: Draft revise negotiate and conclude legal agreements address legal matters liaise with external lawyers and advise senior management on legal matters.

  • Methodology Review: Draft update and communicate company policies in line with the companys methodology and regulatory requirements.

  • Reporting: Coordinate and submit regulatory filings prepare reports for executive leadership and provide updates on compliance metrics.

  • Training and Communication: Conduct training sessions communicate regulatory changes and ensure employee awareness of compliance requirements.



Qualifications:

  • Member of the Cyprus Bar Association or any equivalent qualification from an EU member state

  • Extensive experience in compliance and regulatory roles within the financial services industry and a holder of CYSEC and ICPAC AML Certifications

  • Strong understanding of fund administration and related regulatory frameworks

  • Knowledge of licensing processes and requirements in various jurisdictions

  • At least 35 years of relevant working experience in a supervisory role

  • Strong drafting skills and handson experience in the preparation of contracts and provision of legal advice in contract commercial trade and employment law matters

  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language
