Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee our equipment management operations for a Heavy Machinery and Equipment business startup. This role will involve managing the purchase and rental of heavy machinery ensuring efficient use and maintenance of equipment and complying with all safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in equipment management import/export and technical knowledge of heavy machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the purchase and rental of heavy machinery and equipment.
- Track equipment inventory and usage ensuring all assets are accounted for.
- Implement and manage an effective checkin/checkout system for equipment.
- Plan and schedule equipment maintenance ensuring all machinery is in optimal working condition.
- Train employees on the proper use and safety protocols for equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Manage import/export operations related to heavy machinery and equipment.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Provide reports and updates to senior management regarding equipment usage costs and performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in equipment management or a related role.
- Proven experience in import/export of heavy machinery.
- Indepth knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and technical operations.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to manage equipment resources efficiently.
