A leading universal bank in Kazakhstan ranked among the top 10 is seeking an experienced professional for the role of Advisor to the CEO. This position will play a crucial role in the development and execution of strategic initiatives operational support and advising on key areas for the banks growth. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the banking industry executivelevel experience and strategic vision.
Responsibilities
- Advising the CEO on strategic and operational matters.
- Participating in Board meetings preparing materials and proposals.
- Developing and implementing initiatives to enhance business efficiency across corporate and retail banking.
- Analyzing market trends competitive landscape and new growth opportunities for the bank.
- Actively contributing to strategic discussions generating ideas and offering actionable recommendations.
- Ensuring effective communication between senior management bank departments and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the CEO in managing a broad range of business challenges including change management and digital transformation.
Candidate Requirements
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years in the banking industry including executivelevel or key managerial roles.
- Proficient understanding of both corporate and retail banking sectors.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strategic thinking and operational insight with a strong capacity to generate and execute ideas.
- Experience in Boardlevel participation (preparation and presentation of materials).
- Ability to work with large datasets analyze complex issues and propose solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills capable of engaging with executives teams and external partners.
Education:
- A bachelors degree in Finance Economics or Management or an MBA (preferred).
Readiness:
- Willingness to relocate to Kazakhstan.
