Customer Service Representative
Shift: FullTime Monday Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $22$23/hr
We are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Customer Service Representative (Transportation & Inventory) to join our fastpaced team. As a Customer Service Representative you will play a key role in coordinating inventory managing transportation schedules and providing exceptional customer support. This position requires strong multitasking skills the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and the confidence to work closely with a team of dedicated professionals.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Answer incoming calls and provide prompt professional assistance to customers and team members.
- Coordinate and manage inventory levels ensuring accurate tracking and availability.
- Schedule and oversee truck transportation ensuring ontime deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain and update records in inventory management systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues and coordinate schedules.
- Perform regular inventory counts and identify discrepancies for resolution.
- Multitask effectively to manage phone calls inventory coordination and scheduling tasks.
- Collaborate with a team of 12 women in a fastpaced environment to meet daily goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries concerns and issues with professionalism.
- Support other administrative tasks as needed to ensure seamless daily operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education or certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience in transportation scheduling and inventory management is required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word and Outlook) and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and build strong relationships.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tasks.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize responsibilities.
