Job Responsibilities
As a Preadmission & OR Scheduling RN you will:
- Manage and oversee the preadmission process for patients across various populations.
- Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures to ensure efficiency in the operating room.
- Provide personalized highquality nursing care rooted in evidencebased practice.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care delivery.
- Educate patients and their families on the preprocedure process and address any concerns.
- Uphold the highest standards of professional nursing and adhere to the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma or Associate Degree).
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Active RN license.
- CPRBCLS certification.
- Experience: Open to new graduates; preadmission or OR scheduling experience is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional communication and decorum.
- Ability to maintain and manage confidential patient information.
