Job Description

Job Quick Facts:

Specialty: Nurse Anesthesia (CRNA)

Facility Location: Billings MT

Service Setting: Inpatient

Reason For Coverage: Supplemental

Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing

Coverage Type: Clinical only

Shift Schedule: MonFri/Weekends; usually 7a5p

Fulltime need

Case Load:

Ave. of 7 cases (Surgery Center) 23 Main OR 16 (Endo)

Case Mix:

Complete Ortho/Complex Vascular Head Spine Neuro OB Pediatric Regional & Thoracic.

OB: covered by OB specific CRNAs so there wont be much if any.

Required Procedures:

General Anesthesia (Adult & Trauma)

Anesthesia: Spinal EpiduralRegional Anesthesia Surgery.

Neurosurgical cases (Head & Spine) Postop epidural Postop extremity blocks Epidural steroid for Lumbar Epidural steroid for Cervical Transforaminal (Lumbar & Cervical)

Use of xray guidance in performance of blocks Ventilation mgmt Evaluation & mgmt of acute volume/BP issues.

Central Arterial Line & PA Catheter placement.

Trauma Level: I III

EMR: Cerner

Other Info:

CRNAs are supervised.

Full day orientation; Shadowing 2nd day.

Long term assignment preferred.

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

MT License

BC/BE

BLS ACLS PALS
