The Opportunity
Were seeking a Corporate Associate (Securities/Capital Markets) with 3 years of experience to join a prestigious Am Law 100 firm in New York. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated securities and capital markets transactions while being part of a dynamic and collaborative legal team.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent issuers and underwriters/placement agents in capital markets transactions under the Securities Act of 1933.
- Advise public companies on compliance with Securities Exchange Act of 1934 filings corporate governance and regulatory matters.
- Provide strategic counsel on securities law and capital markets matters both independently and as part of a team.
- Deliver highquality client service in a fastpaced complex transactional environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in capital markets including representing issuers and underwriters in securities offerings and advising public companies on compliance matters.
- Education: JD or LLM from an ABAaccredited law school.
- Licensure: Admitted or eligible for admission in New York.
- Skills:
- Strong written and oral communication.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective collaboration within team settings.
