The Opportunity
Join a premier Patent Litigation Section known for representing clients in highstakes intellectual property matters. This role offers an exciting chance to work on cuttingedge cases leveraging your technical expertise and litigation skills in a collaborative and forwardthinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of patent litigation including:
- Preparing for and participating in trials and Markman hearings.
- Conducting technical analyses of products and patents.
- Managing discovery processes including working with expert witnesses and conducting depositions.
- Drafting compelling pleadings motions and other litigation documents.
- Engage directly with clients to align litigation strategies with their business objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in patent litigation with experience in district court and/or the International Trade Commission.
- Technical Background: Preferred expertise in electrical engineering computer science or a related field.
- Education: JD or LLM from an ABAaccredited law school.
- Licensure: Admitted to or eligible for admission in California.
- Skills:
- Strong written and oral communication.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Teamoriented with a commitment to collaboration.
- Professionalism: Adept at engaging with clients and fostering strong relationships.
