We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at a company that specializes in producing and supplying various plasticrelated products and solutions including resins release agents chemicals additives and masterbatches. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans building strong relationships with clients and leading a highperforming sales team. This pivotal role involves crafting and implementing robust sales strategies overseeing client relationships guiding a sales team and driving overall sales performance. The ideal candidate will possess extensive industry expertise strong leadership abilities and a demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to spot growth opportunities. Develop and implement sales strategies specifically for the plastic industry focusing on chemicals additives and masterbatches.
- Build and sustain strong client and stakeholder relationships. Understand their needs to offer tailored solutions. Conduct meetings and presentations to review performance and explore new opportunities.
- Lead and motivate a sales team to meet goals. Provide training and support to improve product knowledge sales skills and customer service. Foster a collaborative highperformance sales culture.
- Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing ensuring customer satisfaction and issue resolution. Monitor sales performance prepare reports and forecasts and ensure adherence to strategies and company policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends technological advancements and regulations. Maintain thorough knowledge of the companys products including chemicals additives and masterbatches. Educate clients and prospects about the benefits and applications of these products.
- Collaborate with marketing product development and customer service to support sales initiatives. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to boost brand visibility and network with potential clients.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Chemistry Engineering or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within the chemicals or plastics industry with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of the plastic industrys needs and challenges including knowledge of chemicals additives and masterbatches.
- Exceptional leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and team members.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with a datadriven approach to decisionmaking.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
