Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities)

1. Linux administration experience and troubleshooting permissions issues in a Linux Environment.

2. Perform Health checks of the Splunk environment troubleshoot and restore service

3. Perform Splunk Entrprise Universal forwarder and Splunk apps upgrades

4. Update or create documentation for internal troubleshooting purposes.

5. Interact with internal Splunk user base for the development management and tuning of Splunk knowledge objects.

6. Interpret and apply new technical and system capabilities as needed to provide updates enhancements and modifications to an existing Splunk environment.

Good to have skill

Current Certification as a Splunk Administrator
5 years experience building troubleshooting and supporting Splunk Infrastructure in a clustered multisite Linux environment onPremise.
1 years of experience automating Splunk Deployments
