Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated AV Design Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing presales support creating effective AV solutions and collaborating closely with clients to meet their audiovisual needs.
Responsibilities:
PreSales Support:
Engage with clients to understand their AV requirements and objectives. Provide technical expertise during the presales phase offering insights into AV solutions.
Solution Design:
Design comprehensive AV solutions based on client specifications and industry best practices.Create detailed AV system schematics diagrams and documentation.
Client Collaboration:
Work closely with clients to present and explain proposed AV designs addressing any inquiries or concerns.Provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and products. Collaborate with vendors to understand product features and capabilities.
Collaboration with Sales Teams:
Partner with sales teams to develop proposals and presentations for clients.Assist in preparing accurate and competitive project bids.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct system testing and quality assurance checks on AV solutions.Ensure that designed solutions meet both client requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Audiovisual Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in AV presales support and design engineering.
- Proficient in using AV design software and tools.
- Strong understanding of audiovisual technologies signal flow and integration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred Skills :
- Industry certifications such as CTS CTSD (InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist Design) are a plus.
- Familiarity with control systems (Crestron AMX) and video conferencing solutions.
- Project management skills for coordinating AV installations.

- Able to work independently, remotely from home and on company premises in Bangalore - Fluent in Spoken and Written English - Able to work EMEA & APAC office hours - Intermediate IT skills. - 2+ years experience working in an IT environment - Asset management experience. - Windows & MacOS operating system experience. - Knowledge of the ITIL reference model is preferable.
