Job Description
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records including ledgers and journals.
- Financial Statements: Prepare and review financial statements and reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts; monitor and analyze budgetary performance.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns ensuring compliance with federal state and local tax regulations.
- Internal Controls: Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends variances and potential areas for improvement.
- Reporting: Generate periodic financial reports for management highlighting key financial metrics and performance indicators.
