Job Description: Tricentis Qtest Test Automation Architect for their Digital Transformation Journey. As a Test Automation Architect you will primarily be responsible for ownership of QTEST/TOSCA configuration and test management activities applications which include estimation and analysis of manual test cases automation of manual test cases execution of manual and automated test cases and scenarios working with application development teams and the Quality Center of Excellence (QCOE) in coordination with your activities.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain scalable and efficient test automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define test automation strategies and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Lead the implementation and execution of automated test suites for functional regression and performance testing.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the test automation team ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Customize and extend Tricentis Tosca functionalities to meet specific project requirements and enhance test automation capabilities.
- Integrate Tricentis Tosca with tools (Qtest for Test Management ADO for Features/User stories) and systems within the software development lifecycle such as CI/CD pipelines and issue tracking systems.
- Analyze test results and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement in test coverage and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Tricentis Tosca implementation and test automation processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance
- 12 years of experience in test automation with a focus on Tricentis Tosca.
- Proven experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for test automation such as Selenium Java C# or Python.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in Agile development teams is mandatory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of leading and mentoring teams.
- Tricentis Tosca certification (e.g. Tricentis Certified Tosca Automation Engineer) is mandatory.
