Job Description
Proficiency in Java/J2EE and Spring Boot for building robust and scalable applications.
Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
Familiarity with Angular for frontend development.
Ability to build and release software using DevOps pipelines (e.g. GitHub Jenkins Bitbucket and Gradle).
2. Cloud Knowledge:
The project is hosted in AWS (Amazon Web Services). Familiarity with AWS services is an advantage.
3. Agile/Scrum:
Understand the Agile/Scrum development model.
Participate in sprint activities:
Review the Sprint Backlog.
Conduct Daily Standup meetings.
Track task and story status.
Monitor action items and risks.
Demo working software during sprint reviews.
Reflect on the sprint during Retrospectives.
4. Requirements Understanding:
Collaborate with users and clients to gather business requirements and translate them into software solutions.
As a senior staff member youll assign tasks to team members.
Software Planning Design and Testing:
Work closely with the team to design test and develop software.
Create detailed plans to guide project execution.
Recommend upgrades to existing programs as needed.
5. Documentation:
Prepare various documents:
HighLevel Design (HLD): Describes the overall architecture and components.
LowLevel Design (LLD): Provides detailed design specifications.
System Maintenance and Troubleshooting Documents (SMTD): Helps maintain and troubleshoot the system.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP): Ensures proper system operation and maintenance.
