Role: Developer / Level 5
Location: Bangalore India.
Who are we looking for
A 5 years experienced IBM Sterling Gentran resource.
Technical Skills:
- Work experience in EDI development and support.
- Experienced IBM Sterling Gentran resource.
- These potential candidates will be working in the clients environment responsible for running their EDI environment
- The client uses IBM Sterling Gentran for the mapping and B2B Integrator for the communication component
- This position will be client facing so a candidate with good communication skills
- Ability to perform the business analysis working with the client for requirements gathering
- Ability to write the specs
- Responsible for the development unit testing of maps
- Maintaining/updating of mapping configuration items deliverables
- Setup onboard and testing of the trading partners into production
- Ongoing production support activities troubleshooting mapping related issues etc
- Development Following standard coding practices
- Unit Test Case creation testing peer reviews
- Deployment & Documentation tasks
- On time and defect free delivery
- Good communication skills and other soft skills
- Good team player.
Domain Skills:
- Setting and managing expectations throughout the full project lifecycle
Process Skills:
- Capable of analyzing requirements as per project defined software process.
- Develop and peer review of LLD (Initiate/ participate in peer reviews)
- Ability to execute test plans create test cases test data and contribute for the problem solving.
Behavioral Skills:
- Resolve technical issues of projects and Explore alternate designs
- Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by intergroup coordination within the modules of the project.
- Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction
- Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.
Certification:
Education qualification: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
