Roles and responsibilities.
1. As an Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer will be responsible for installing and configuring Microsoft WVD technologies including host pools WVD images and scaling.
2. Hands on experience in implementing managing operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment.
3. Subject matter expertise with Microsoft Azure
4. Azure Services: Good understanding of various Azure services
a. Compute services (Virtual Machines Azure App Service Azure Functions)
b. Storage services (Azure Blob Storage Azure Files Azure Disk Storage)
c. Networking services (Virtual Networks Load Balancers Azure Firewall)
5. Good knowledge and understanding of cloud computing services; including knowing networking servers databases and software in Cloud will be an added advantage
6. Handson experience with PowerShell and K Queries will be a plus point.
7. Knowledge of Azure hybrid cloud solutions including Azure Arc for managing onpremises and multicloud resources.
8. Proficiency in Azure networking concepts such as Virtual Networks (VNets) Subnets Network Security Groups (NSGs) Azure Firewall VPN Gateway and ExpressRoute
9. Knowledge of security trends technologies and best practices around Microsoft Azure solutions.
Must Have Requirements:
a) Minimum 5 experience in the IT field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in handson cloud/Azure based solutions
b) Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical role developing maintaining new security services technologies and capabilities.
c) Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information.
d) Azure Administrator (Az104) certification is a musthave.
e) Good knowledge of Azure Cycle cloud and AVD administration.
f) Perform security reviews audits and threat assessments on Cloud based applications
