Core Skills & Expertise:
1. SAP Convergent Invoicing Expertise
EndtoEnd CI Configuration: Strong experience configuring SAP CI components such as billable items invoicing processes and rating processes.
Invoicing Processes: Deep understanding of convergent invoicing processes including billing aggregation invoice creation and charge management.
Integration with Other Modules: Experience integrating CI with other SAP modules such as SAP FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable) and SAP SD (Sales and Distribution)
Master Data Management: Knowledge of customer and product master data in CI and related business partner integration.
2. Business Process Understanding
Familiarity with the Telecommunication industry including how CI supports this industry specific billing and invoicing processes.
Revenue Management: Experience with invoicing and revenue recognition in a variety of scenarios including subscriptions usagebased billing and hybrid models.
3. Technical Skills
ABAP/Enhancements: Ability to work with ABAP developers or perform minor customizations and enhancements in CI.
Data Migration and ETL: Experience in data migration and extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes for legacy systems to SAP CI.
Interfaces and Integration: Proficiency in integrating SAP CI with thirdparty systems via middleware (e.g. SAP PI/PO web services APIs Convergent Mediation).
4. Project Management and Consulting
Requirement Gathering: Experience in working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
Solution Design: Expertise in designing scalable solutions that meet business and technical requirements while adhering to best practices.
Implementation and Customization: Proven experience in implementing SAP CI solutions customizing settings and resolving issues during golive and postgolive support.
Testing & UAT: Handson experience in preparing and executing test scripts including unit testing integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
5. Soft Skills
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
ProblemSolving: Analytical and problemsolving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues during the implementation and support phases.
Team Collaboration: Experience working in crossfunctional teams both as a team member and as a leader managing junior consultants developers and end users.
6. Certifications
SAP certifications in SAP Convergent Invoicing SAP FICA SAP BRIM or related modules are often preferred or required.
Experience Requirements
46 years of SAP CI experience: Demonstrable handson experience in configuring deploying and supporting SAP CI solutions.
IndustrySpecific Experience: Relevant experience in industries that use SAP CI extensively such as telecommunications utilities and media.
Full Lifecycle Implementations: Experience participating in multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations from blueprinting to golive and postgolive support.
