Job Description
Job Title: Audit Supervisor Global Markets Trade Surveillance/Market Conduct
Location: New York NY US
Work Arrangement: Onsite Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Job Type: Permanent
Responsibilities:
- Audit Execution: Lead and execute audit strategies with a focus on riskbased auditing defining audit scope and creating audit programs. Utilize automation and innovative methods to ensure timely highquality results.
- Control Environment Evaluation: Apply indepth product business and technical knowledge to effectively challenge management ensuring improvements to the control environment.
- Business Impact Assessment: Evaluate the impact of business processes controls and strategies providing recommendations on severity ratings.
- Audit Reporting: Contribute to drafting audit reports sharing findings and insights with business leaders to drive improvement.
- Team Development: Support the growth of peers and teams through onthejob training and fostering an inclusive work environment.
- Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong business partner relationships particularly with line management to enhance business knowledge.
- Innovative Audit Tools: Employ innovative tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of audit activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 45 years in audit or a compliance/business controls/risk management role with specific experience covering trading desk activities across Equities Fixed Income Currencies and Commodities asset classes.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong background in audit or risk controls within financial services.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in analytical and automation tools including SQL SAS Excel and Access.
- Education: Bachelors degree.

NonNegotiable Requirements:
- At least 4 years of trading and auditing experience.
- Specific coverage of trading desk activities across Equities or Fixed Income Currencies and Commodities asset classes.
- Strong audit or risk controls background in financial services.
- Proficiency in automation tools like SQL SAS Excel and Access.
