Job Description
Position Title
Lead / Senior Materials and Corrosion Engineer
Exp 1015 Yrs Location Mumbai.
Skills/Experience- Masters / Bachelors Degree in Metallurgy engineering Materials Technology or equivalent.
- Ability to work in various phases of projects like Concept PreFEED FEED Detail Engineering Procurement construction and Installation of facilities.
- Familiarity of codes norms manuals and standard as API ISO ASME AWS AWWA ASM ASTM EN ANSI NACE NORSOK PED and corrosion modelling softwares such as ECE Predict etc.
- Sound technical knowledge of oil and gas production and refining processes welding & NDE materials characterization techniques and latest fabrication methods.
- Exposure to nonmetallics to include coatings insulation fireproofing refractory plastics and elastomers is desirable.
- Possess good technical report writing skills.
- Certifications from NACE corrosion/ painting/ inspection/ cathodic protection IIW/ AWS welding ANST NDT are preferable.
- Minimum 10 to 15 years proven experience in Metallurgical Engineering with design contractors and/or oil/gas companies within the petrochemical industry particularly with respect to onshore/offshore oil and gas facilities.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Lead / Managerial role.
