Job Description
Role: Body Shop Estimator
Location: Newark DE (InPerson)
Job Type: Fulltime
About the Job:
Our client is seeking a Body Shop Estimator with a strong background in customer service and the ability to learn new technology. This role involves preparing estimates maintaining a timely repair schedule and developing appropriate repair plans for vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Provide an exceptional customer experience and oversee the repair process from start to finish.
- Prepare estimates according to vehicle guidelines and repair procedures.
- Offer initial and supplemental estimates to customers during the repair stages.
- Develop proper repair plans for each vehicle based on necessary repairs.
- Communicate supplements to customers and insurance companies promptly.
- Address customer inquiries and provide necessary information.
- Ensure quality control during the repair process.
- Meet or exceed customer expectations when delivering the vehicle back to the customer.
- Track claim money before the vehicle is picked up as needed.
- Ensure files are closed and finally billed for payment as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Positive friendly attitude with a customer service mentality.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of CCC estimate software is a plus.
- Ability to learn new technology repair and service procedures and specifications.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
