Job Description
Duration: 12 months with possible extension
Location: Newark NJ (Onsite 1 or 2 times a month)
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a highly skilled Oracle SCM Cloud Functional Consultant to join our support team. In this role you will be responsible for providing ongoing functional support troubleshooting and optimization of Oracle SCM (Supply Chain Management) Cloud modules ensuring that the system runs smoothly and meets the evolving needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Incident Management: Handle and resolve functional issues related to Oracle SCM Cloud modules including Procurement Inventory Order Management Manufacturing and Logistics.
User Support: Act as the primary support contact for endusers addressing their queries troubleshooting issues and providing guidance on the effective use of Oracle SCM Cloud.
System Monitoring: Monitor system performance and supply chain processes proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure smooth operations.
Configuration & Enhancements: Implement necessary configurations and minor enhancements in Oracle SCM Cloud based on user requirements ensuring best practices are followed.
Patch & Release Management: Manage and apply Oracle patches updates and new releases to ensure system stability and functionality while minimizing disruption to business operations.
Documentation: Maintain uptodate documentation of configurations issue resolutions and any changes made to the system to ensure knowledge continuity and compliance.
Testing: Perform testing for patches updates and enhancements to validate their impact on the system before deployment.
Compliance: Ensure that the Oracle SCM Cloud system complies with company policies industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Preferred:
- Experience with Oracle SCM Cloud support methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with Oracle SR (Service Request) management and collaboration with Oracle support teams.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and experience using incident management tools.
