DS Technologies Inc is looking for Biomedical Equipment Technician II role for one of our premier clients.
Overview: The Biomedical Equipment Technician II (BMET) supports patient care by ensuring medical equipment is functioning properly. The role involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs allowing healthcare teams to effectively use diagnostic equipment.
Position: Full Time Permanent
Responsibilities:
- Provide coverage and support for the Clinical Engineering (CE) Lead
- Perform preventative maintenance safety tests and equipment calibration
- Repair equipment throughout the responsible area
- Prioritize workload effectively with minimal supervision
- Complete recordkeeping for work orders
- Resolve customer service issues with minimal supervision
- Assist in ordering parts and supplies
- Perform crosstraining for other technicians
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with teammates
Requirement Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience servicing technical equipment
- Valid Drivers License
- CBET Certification preferred
- Kansas State License required
- Experience in a hospital environment
