Job Description
Job Title: RN PostAnesthesia Care (PACU)
Location: Shiprock NM 87420
Duration: 6 to 12 months
Start Date: November 2024
Shift Schedule: 8 to 12 hrs/day
Qualification:
Education: BSN / ASN
License: Current valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in any State of USA
Certifications: BLS ACLS
Experience: Shall have thirtysix 36) months of nursing experience with a minimum of two (2) years in the PACU.
Drivers License
Immunization Copies
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring postoperative patients levels of consciousness during recovery from anesthesia.
- Measuring and recording patients vital signs.
- Closely observing patients for signs of side effects of anesthesia medication.
- Treating pain nausea and other postoperative symptoms of anesthesia.
- Updating charts patient files and medical records.
- Collaborating with the medical team on postoperative patient care and facilitating timely specialized interventions.
