Job Description:
Our client is seeking a diligent and proactive Facility Maintenance Specialist to uphold the standards of cleanliness safety and efficiency in their facilities. Reporting to the Safety Supervisor this role is essential in ensuring that all building and grounds are wellmaintained presenting a welcoming and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently ensure the interior and exterior of the facility are wellmaintained
- Relocate assemble and disassemble furniture as required
- Address plumbing needs install or replace lighting fixtures and conduct minor repairs
- Organize and transition equipment as necessary
- Manage wall repairs including plastering painting and maintenance of exterior trim
- Resolve issues with clogged drains replace plumbing fixtures and oversee building plumbing
- Schedule and maintain company vehicles in proper working order
- Care for the propertys landscape and outdoor areas
- Skillfully operate cleaning equipment including floor sweepers and carpet cleaners to maintain facility floors
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in construction plumbing repair work and painting
- Proficient in operating a range of machinery including forklifts pallet jacks and scissor lifts
- Competency in using hand and power tools measuring devices and comfortable working at heights
- Welding expertise is a bonus
- Solid proficiency in English both written and verbal
- Flexibility in work schedule including the ability to work extra hours as needed
- Must possess a valid California drivers license
