Job Description
Everest Systems is a startup company founded in 2020. Its focus is on developing business software for small and medium sized companies. The company is financially backed by a wellknown investor its founders are very experienced software and product architects from industry. The company is in Palo Alto USA and Heidelberg Germany.
Currently we are about 125 employees worldwide and we are hiring.
Tasks
As a QA engineer you will focus on the following tasks:
- Work embedded in an application team designing and implementing integration & endtoend test automation using Jest and Playwright (TypeScript).
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate requirements into comprehensive test cases.
- Pioneer AI/LLM integration into our testing processes to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Implement quality metrics and dashboards to track and improve product reliability.
- Lead initiatives to improve deployment automation and release processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related topic.
- 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer Test Engineer or SDET.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Playwright (or similar test automation frameworks).
- Handson experience testing cloudnative web applications.
- Familiarity with API and integration testing.
- Innovative mindset for using AI/ML in testing processes.
