As a Senior Solution Engineering you will play an essential role in shaping and delivering our advanced supply chain solutions for enterprise customers in retail logistics and manufacturing. This position requires a combination of deep technical expertise strategic client management skills and a profound understanding of the supply chain and challenges for companies in these vertical markets. You will be supporting the sales team in the presales phase with a focus on qualifying the prospect and ist current challenges lead the technical deep dive and execute a Proof of Value to win new customer projects.
Tasks
As a Senior Solution Engineer you will:
Solution Design and Technical Expertise:
- Leverage your knowledge of retail logistics and manufacturing processes to guide the prospect through the evaluation phase
- Collaborate with clients to understand complex business needs and map our supply chain solutions to address their unique requirements
- Stay current on industry trends emerging technologies and competitive landscapes to inform product development data scientists and sales
Client Engagement and Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders providing insights and recommendations to drive operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
- Manage relationships with key decisionmakers building longterm partnerships and ensuring alignment with client business objectives.
- Lead discovery workshops solution demonstrations and technical presentations ensuring alignment between client needs and solution capabilities.
Project Oversight and Delivery Excellence:
- Oversee solution implementation throughout the Proofof Value phase ensuring projects are delivered on time within scope and aligned with quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of solutions.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks proactively resolving issues that could impact project success.
Strategic Contributions and Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to product development by providing feedback from clients and industry insights to the product management team.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance solution efficiency scalability and performance.
- Drive initiatives to improve solution deployment processes optimize resources and elevate the overall client experience.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Supply Chain Management Industrial Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in a similar field (Customer Success Manager Account Manager Business Analyst Project Manager Data Science Consultant) with Enterprise/B2B customers
- Excellent communication interpersonal and customer service skills
- Good time management strategic planning and organizational skills
- Affinity for data science and technical topics you are comfortable communicating about complex topics with decisionmakers
- Affinity to data and databases (Snowflake)
- Experience in the domain of supplychains is a plus
- Experience in a B2B software company is a plus / product company
- Basic knowledge of statistics and machine learning concepts is a plus
- Basic knowledge about dataengineeringprocesses is a plus
- Fluent in German (as the focus is DACH) and English (as we are an international company)
