Job Description
Location: More than 50 miles from local area
Schedule: Varies Monday Friday 13 weeks
Department: 6560V Perfusion Svcs GMCL Perfusion Tech
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the specialty
Responsibilities: Operating extracorporal equipment providing care and support activities performing duties including cardiopulmonary bypass Auto transfusion intraaortic balloon pump counter pulsation standby support short and long term ventricular assist
Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of perfusion technology licensed as a Perfusionist in the state of Georgia Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) BCLS certification knowledge of all phases of perfusion services ability to differentiate colors and shades
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Science three years of recent clinical perfusion experience
Holiday Expectations: Must work 1 major holiday (Christmas Day or New Years Day) and 1 minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Years Eve).
