Position: SharePoint Administrator
Locations: New York NY
Duration: Long Term Contract
Role Overview:
- The SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for the design configuration and management of SharePoint environments including SharePoint Online and onpremises versions (2016/2019). The role involves ensuring effective site and content management migration between SharePoint versions and implementing SharePoint system solutions.
Major Duties:
- Design configure and manage SharePoint Online environments.
- Work with SharePoint 2016/2019 to design and develop metadata configurations site configurations lists content types workflows web parts and other components.
- Create and manage site collections and enable permissions based on user requirements.
- Implement SharePoint solutions including backend programming (MS SQL 2008) and frontend components (MS SharePoint 2016).
- Perform migration from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint 2019.
- Manage user permissions update content and modify navigation as needed.
- Possess basic knowledge of SharePoint development SDLC processes and .NET Framework.
Essential Skills:
- SharePoint Online Management: Design configuration and management expertise.
- Experience in SharePoint 2016/2019: Proficiency in working with these versions.
- Metadata and Site Configuration: Ability to design and develop metadata site configurations lists content types workflows web parts and other components.
- Site Collection Creation: Experience in creating and managing site collections.
- Permissions Management: Expertise in enabling permissions and managing user groups.
- SharePoint System Solutions: Implement solutions including backend (MS SQL 2008) and frontend (MS SharePoint 2016).
- Migration Experience: Proven experience in migrating from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint 2019.
- User Management: Experience in adding/changing/removing users and updating content and navigation.
- Basic Knowledge: Understanding of SharePoint development SDLC processes and .NET Framework.
