Job Description:
- Design and develop the architecture for InfluxDB database systems ensuring scalability reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
- Evaluate and select appropriate time series database technologies and tools based on project requirements and industry best practices.
- Optimize database performance by analyzing query execution plans indexing strategies and database configurations.
- Implement data modeling techniques to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of timeseries data.
- Develop and maintain database schemas tables views and stored procedures.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database issues including performance bottlenecks data consistency and system failures.
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing appropriate access controls backups and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate database solutions into applications and systems.
- Stay uptodate with the latest trends and advancements in InfluxDB database technologies recommending and implementing improvements where applicable.
- Preferably have designing development and deployment experience in cloudbased databases.
