Position: Assistant Video Editor
Location: Remote (Philippines)
Schedule: Flexible best if open to PST
Overview:
We are seeking a talented and technically proficient Assistant Video Editor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fastpaced environments and is familiar with syncing audio to various media types. You will work with footage from DSLR GoPro and iPhone ensuring everything is synced using tools like Tentacle Sync. You must be capable of creating multicam sequences and handling diverse media formats all while understanding the nuances of YouTube content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sync audio to various media types including DSLR GoPro and iPhone footage.
- Utilize Tentacle Sync to ensure precise syncing of audio and video.
- Create multicam sequences with proficiency.
- Identify and select usable footage for editing.
- Perform basic editing and support the lead editor in tasks as required.
- Manage diverse media files handling different formats and frame rates.
- Ensure high technical standards and attention to detail in all editing tasks.
- Work independently during night shifts and demonstrate problemsolving capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a video editor specifically with YouTube content.
- Strong technical expertise with DSLR GoPro iPhone and syncing tools like Tentacle Sync.
- Proficiency in creating multicam sequences.
- Familiarity with YouTube's content style and expectations.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative particularly during night shifts.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to work.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant skills and experience.
