Help elevate our clients brand through captivating shortform video content and strategic social media management.
Your Role:
As our Social Media Manager/Video Editor youll be responsible for both video editing and managing the posting and scheduling of our content across all major social media platforms. You will collaborate closely with our videographer marketing team and freelancers ensuring the successful execution of our social media strategy with a focus on shortform content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team and Social Media Strategist to develop and execute a comprehensive video content strategy that aligns with our brand values and business objectives.
- Edit engaging and shareable shortform video content across platforms such as YouTube Instagram LinkedIn Facebook Twitter and TikTok in line with our social media strategy.
- Manage the posting and scheduling of social media content using Hootsuite or similar scheduling tools ensuring timely delivery across all platforms.
- Coordinate with videographers freelancers and graphic designers to ensure a consistent visual style across all video content aligning with our brand messaging.
- Edit captions and subtitles for videos to be used across social platforms ensuring highquality and engaging content.
- Monitor and respond to audience comments on video content to foster engagement and build community.
- Travel around Australia with the production team for live events capturing and editing footage to create captivating content.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager Video Editor or similar role preferably in education or a related industry.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro CapCut) and strong editing skills to produce engaging shortform content.
- Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of video platforms formats and best practices for engagement across social media platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects meet deadlines and maintain a high level of quality in all content.
- Knowledge of SEO SEM and digital marketing principles as they relate to video content.
