Job Purpose and Scope
The Modern Building Material Sales Head will be responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration for our valueadded construction material products primarily wall putty and construction chemicals. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales management business development and team leadership skills with a keen focus on leveraging digital channels for sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals including a robust digital sales component.
- Analyze market trends competitor activities and customer needs to identify growth opportunities through both traditional and digital channels.
- Develop and execute sales plans for different product lines incorporating digital marketing and ecommerce strategies.
- Sales Team Management:
- Recruit hire train and develop a highperforming sales team with a mix of field sales and digital sales expertise.
- Set clear performance expectations and goals for the sales team including digital sales metrics.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to sales representatives on digital sales techniques and tools.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics including digital sales data to identify areas for improvement.
- Distribution Network Development:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors dealers and contractors both offline and online.
- Expand distribution network to reach new markets and customers through digital channels.
- Ensure effective inventory management and supply chain operations including integration with ecommerce platforms.
- Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships utilizing digital platforms for lead generation and relationship building.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis leveraging digital tools for data collection and insights.
- Develop and execute sales proposals and presentations incorporating digital elements for enhanced engagement.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers utilizing digital channels for communication and support.
- Understand customer needs and provide solutions through both offline and online platforms.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely manner leveraging digital channels for efficient resolution.
- Financial Performance:
- Develop and manage sales budgets including allocation for digital marketing and sales activities.
- Monitor sales performance against targets including digital sales metrics and take corrective actions as needed.
- Analyze sales data including digital analytics to identify trends and opportunities.

- Required Education : Engineering Degree
- Desirable Education: MBA with specialization in Marketing or Operations
