Description
We are seeking a creative teamoriented and motivated Engineer to join our Community Development Business Sector. They will be responsible for preparing engineering design calculations and construction plans to directly support residential commercial and roadway developments including site grading stormwater utility design and details and preparation write drainage and utility reports. This position can be remote or hybrid from our Fishers IN office and is eligible for a signon bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Indiana land development permitting experience required
- Assisting with proposal and report generation
- Ability to cultivate new client relationships
- The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills including written oral and good interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work and interface well in a collaborative and detailoriented project team environment.

Technical Responsibilities
- Designs a complete project system component or process.
- Prepares complete plans specifications and other project documents.
- Designs and conducts analyses and interprets test data.
- Begins to develop and reviews complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance.
Project and Task Management
- Assigns tasks to other technical and nontechnical staff.
- Plans and coordinates detailed aspects of the engineering work.
- Prepares scopes budgets and schedules for assignments.
- Assists with proposals to provide professional services or obtain funding for engineering projects or projects.
Management Responsibility
- Receives general direction on key objectives.
- Receives guidance on unconventional/complex problems direction on modified techniques and new approaches on assignments with conflicting criteria.
- Mentors junior staff by providing guidance explaining professional responsibilities and reviewing work products.
- Attends project meetings and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments.
Communication Skills
- Communicates effectively to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

Bachelors or better in Engineering or related field.
