Job Description
1. Maintain and operate the PDMS Global database as an E3D Administrator.
2. Manage and maintain the E3D database with a practical approach familiar with requirements and interactions with all engineering disciplines remote users and 3rd party users.
3. Provide E3D Global Support to the office for the Aviva E3D software used in projects.
4. Develop and maintain project problem register and resolution workflows.
5. Ensure userdefined system issues are addressed and communicated.
6. Responsible for granting system access and reviewing the access periodically.
7. Incorporate best practices of project execution into the standard build.
8. Handle system specifications and reporting.
9. Administer training development and presentation for project staff using the design system.
10. Ensure economic use of available licenses.
11. Prepare Project E3D procedures and coordinate with IT department to set up E3D Software and related Applications.
12. Coordinate all enhancements and operational problems associated with E3D.
13. Set up the E3D Project and establish databases for all disciplines.
14. Set up E3D key plan with area break down and new UDA for any project specific requirements.
15. Set up and maintain the project REVIEW model and assist in conducting model reviews.
16. Develop and implement projectspecific Catalogues and Specifications for various disciplines in E3D.
17. Extract reports such as MTO Surface area Weight and center of gravity calculations from E3D.
18. Ensure that Projectspecific macros are created for all repetitive tasks in PDMS/E3D.
19. Set up ISO draft/Draft macro and backing sheets and stress isometrics for CAESAR input.
20. Train Engineers and Designers on E3D basics and review tools.
21. Should have knowledge of Aveva engineering and interface with other Aveva tools.
