Senior Auditor (CPA Firm)
We are searching for an experienced Auditor who wants to work for a public accounting company that offers prospects for promotion and a collaborative atmosphere.
Essential Functions:
- Attend educational seminars or classes read professional publications build personal networks and join professional groups to keep your professional and technical knowledge current.
- Perform audit testing operations document procedures and results and validate assets and liabilities in compliance with audit protocols.
- Work on audit review and compilation engagements.
- Prepare financial accounts and reports by gathering evaluating and summarizing data and trends.
- Work on projects as required by management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Broad conceptual judgment and initiative.
- Welldeveloped interpersonal and communication abilities both written and verbal.
- Highly detail oriented with ability to focus.
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Ability to maintain high levels of secrecy.
- Problemsolving skills.
- Computer literacy particularly in Word Excel and paperless engagement software.
- Professional look and behavior.
- A valid drivers license is necessary.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting and credits qualifying to sit for the CPA exam required.
- Minimum of Two (2) years of auditing experience in a professional services firm.
