Associate DevOps Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Associate DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Associate DevOps Engineer you will work closely with our development and operations teams to automate deploy and manage applications in cloud and onpremises environments. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in DevOps practices who is looking to grow their career in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Assist in building maintaining and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless application deployment and updates.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Support the automation of infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation.

Monitoring and Logging: Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.

Collaboration: Work closely with development QA and operations teams to troubleshoot issues optimize performance and ensure high availability of systems.

Version Control: Manage code repositories and workflows using Git ensuring best practices in version control and branching strategies.

Cloud Management: Assist in deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.

Security: Participate in security practices and compliance efforts including vulnerability assessments and patch management.

Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation including runbooks deployment guides and architectural diagrams.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

Experience:
- 12 years of experience in DevOps system administration or related fields.
- Handson experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python Bash or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform Ansible).
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK stack).

Soft Skills:
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect) or DevOps tools.
