SUMMARY:

Soliel is seeking to hire a Linux System Administrator who will administer a Linuxbased DevSecOps Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environment and a CentOSbased Open Container Initiative (OCI) compliant and Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) certified Kubernetes platform environment. They will work closely with the team of architects software developers and engineers to recommend and design solutions that effectively reflect our business needs security and service level requirements. They will work with application and architecture teams to conduct proof of concept (POC) designs and implement the design in production cloud environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and operate an Open Container Initiative (OCI) compliant and Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) certified Kubernetes platform.
• Ensure all Linux and CentOS systems are patched available and meet current security requirements.
• Build release and manage the configuration of all production systems with a focus on automation and infrastructure as code.
• Manage a continuous integration and deployment methodology for serverbased technologies. Work alongside architecture and engineering teams to design and implement scalable software services.
• Ensure necessary system security by using bestinclass cloud security solutions.
• Stay current with new technology options and vendor products evaluating which ones would be a good fit for the company.
• Recommend process and architecture improvements.
• Troubleshoot system issues and solve problems across all platform and application domains
• Oversee preproduction acceptance testing to ensure the high quality of a companys services and products.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline or 8 years of practical exp.
• AWS Cloud Experience (EC2 VPCs IAM Roles Security Groups and associated Troubleshooting)
• Solid understanding of how SSL Works in a AWS/Linux based environment.
• Risk Management Framework Experience (SCAP Scans ACAS System Hardening (STIGs) Documentation).
• Scripting (Bash Python)
• Docker
• Windows Server Administration
• Extensive prior experience in CentOS and Linux server system administration
• Experience with deploying software at the TS/SCI level to NSANet and PRIVAC authorities Experience with NSANet approved tools for system configuration and management (e.g. SIMP Puppet Ansible and CS2 Scripts)
• Experience with deploying operating and maintaining cloudbased Linux workloads.
• Experience with infrastructure as code IAC and using tools such as CloudFormation Terraform Ansible and Chef.
• Experience with Open Container Initiative (OCI) compliant and Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) certified Kubernetes platforms
